The creation of every theory is motivated by the call to understand.
No single theory captures the complexity of ways we respond to our hurts and joys. I’ve found it useful to integrate ideas from a number of theories to form a cohesive, complex way of working.
What I have found most helpful are ideas explored in contemporary psychoanalytic psychodynamic theory informed by relational, multicultural, and attachment models. Also useful are those theories that address family systems, trauma and dissociation, object relations, and the transpersonal aspect of living.
I have had great success in this approach.

to live in such a way that the wonder of
feeling outfuels the pain of breaking."
